Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign up for GradeCenter?
To inquire about GradeCenter or to see a demonstration, please
send an email message to sales@gradecenter.com.
What does GradeCenter cost?
GradeCenter is priced on a per-pupil basis, annually billed, with
automatic renewal. In many cases, the cost of GradeCenter is only
marginally higher than purchasing pre-printed forms and completing report cards
by hand. Please send an email message to
sales@gradecenter.com to get current pricing information.
What are the System Requirements?
To enter grades and configure GradeCenter for your school, you
will use a web browser. We support Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater, as well as
uplevel versions of Netscape, Mozilla, and Firefox. Other browsers may work,
but have not been fully tested with GradeCenter.
To view and print report cards, a PC running Windows XP (Home or
Professional Edition) is required. The system should have at least 64MB RAM and
20MB of free disk space. GradeCenter supports most printers. We recommend you
use a laser printer with at least 32MB RAM.
How can I get help with GradeCenter?
Contact support@gradecenter.com.
Can I import data into GradeCenter?
It is not possible to import existing data into GradeCenter at
this time.
Can multiple users access GradeCenter at the same
time?
Yes. There is not a restriction on concurrent access to the
system. GradeCenter's fee structure is based on number of pupils, not number of
users.
What if GradeCenter's report card format doesn't
meet my school's needs?
We make every effort to include report card formats that will work
for your school. If for some reason you are not able to find a format that
works for your school, we can discuss creating a new report card format for
your school's needs. A fee may be required, depending on the complexity of the
report card design.
Can I get an electronic copy of the report cards?
In addition to printing hard-copy report cards, the report cards
can be printed instead to a PDF or Microsoft Word file for archival purposes.
You have full control over when you print your report cards and what format you
wish to print them to.
